Hello, and thank you for your interest in Plymouth State University's American Meteorology Society apparel! My name is Jacob Garside, and I am the current president of the AMS club here on campus. For those who are unfamiliar, Plymouth State University’s Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) is a student chapter dedicated to advancing its members professionally and academically through exposure to conferences, professionals in the field, and academic support. We raise money to help fund our members' attendance at the Northeastern Storm Conference, the largest student-led meteorology conference in the Northeast. In summary, during the 36 years this club has been on campus, it has been helping meteorology students, many of whom have graduated and may be reading this now, and right now, we are doing our best to keep that support going. As some of you may remember from past years, our organization had more means of fundraising available to us (bake sales, car washes, etc.). Many of these avenues are now no longer sanctioned by the school, and as such, we are putting new focus on things like apparel to make up the difference. We know that some of these items or shipping may be expensive, but I assure you we are doing our best to keep prices reasonable. Our markup on these items is not very large, and shipping is set at a flat rate, as that is the only way we were able to ensure we could get apparel outside of the school. IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR ORDER SHIPPED TO YOU, please select the shipping option, and provide your mailing address in the lister area. If you live ON or NEAR the Plymouth campus and can pick up your order in person, you do not need to select this option. Instead, we will communicate with you through email or (optionally) text when your order is ready for pickup.
